Category

Categories indicate classification of incomes and expenses. Most of them you can define yourself.

Some examples of Income and Expense Categories:

Income

Expense

  • Salary - periodic or non-periodic incomes for executed work

  • Benefit - children allowance or any other state allowances

  • Interest paid - from banks

  • Pension and Profit Sharing

  • Rent / Rent Income / Rent Paid

  • Clothing

  • Telephone - telephone expenses

  • Utilities - gas, power, water, etc.

In addition to the mentioned Expenses, the Categories can be also used for other expenses.

If you don't want to distribute information among the categories, you'll be satisfied with two simple categories of Incomes and Expenses. However, the more categories you specify the more information on your money you can get.

Note:    Distribution of incomes and expenses among categories allows you to get detailed reports: for instance, you'll see how much you spent on Food and Fuel in previous months.
