I just upgraded to the latest version of CO 2007 Premium and tried syncing. The sync fails with a Read Error 10-104: Unknown Budget Item frequency type in budget item read. I removed the CO 2005 install from my pocket pc and desktop. I'm using Microsoft Money 2006 Deluxe. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have Money 2006 on desktop, but I have never used Cash Organizer. This is a fresh install with the 2007 version of CO. Honestly, I'm not thrilled with the idea of paying good money on a program I can't even get installed!

I finally managed to get it to work. I found an earlier post about this problem, I think the resolution was to switch the budget type in Microsoft Money from advanced to basic. Then Synchronize, once it was finished I changed Microsoft Money back to advanced. Everything seems to work now.

I had the same problem and followed jpbowie's advice and switched the Budget Settings from Advanced to Essential and everything synced fine after that. Thanks jpbowie for posting your solution.

I'm using Money 2004, which doesn't provide such an option. Any ideas? I tried upgrading my version of Money but the latest version of Cash Organizer is not compatible with the latest version of Money (Money Plus). I've spent an entire day so far trying to sort this out....
