Whenever I export accounts to Microsoft Money with the date format left as D/M/Y I lose transactions made on those days between 13 and 31. In Money the transactions that are retained have the wrong date (day and month reversed) even though it appears to be a UK version and new transactions show up correctly. I first noticed this when I attempted to export to a trial (US) version of Money 2007 and put it down to it being a US only product. Now, having bought Money 2005 (and CO7) I am very frustrated. I feel there must be a simple solution. Could anyone tell me what it is? Thanks.

The simplest thing that I can suggest is checking the date format on both your Pocket PC and your desktop/laptop PC. (I have a problem at work with the need to swtch backwards and forwards between UK and US, because one application I use requires that I have my date in the US format!).

Nothing I have is in US format except the qif file I export. My Pocket PC settings are short date dd/MM/yy and long date dd MMMM yyyy. Cash organizer is set to default date format and in the 'other' box ddd dd/MM is displayed whatever that means! In the columns it shows dd/MM. In the CO export window D/M/Y is showing. While I can't pretend to understand all the intricacies of date formating, I cannot see what I am doing wrong. What seems clear is that the QIF file has the US format e.g. D1/13'07.

I changed my PCs settings to US imported the file and then changed back to UK. Problem solved. That is until I ran into other problems with synching. I am hopeful that these were hardware related and yet another replacement Dell Axim will solve them.
