|
|
Hello.
First, I appologize for my poor english. I am French !
Nobody is perfect !!!
I come from the MacOS world and the "dead" PalmOS world and I am trying your software, because PocketPC softwares are very ugly and complicated for me.
I have one or two (maby more) questions before switching for you soft.
First one:
In France, the phone number format is: 01 23 45 67 89.
I tried to remove all formats and created one like this: ## ## ## ## ##.
But I don't understand how it works because my phone numbers ar not reformated.
If I write 0123456789, I have 0123456789.
If I write 01 23456789, I have 01 23456789.
If I write 01 23 45 67 89, I have 01 23 45 67 89...
Did I missed something ?
Second one:
Is there any possibility to go directly to the "edit" page from the list ?
Like a double-click on the picture or the name.
Third one:
When you present an adress, you just put a space between Street and Postal code. But in France, we put a "return" like this:
street
PostalCode City
Country
Street and PostalCode are never on the same line in France.
And last:
In the preview (under the list). Why don't you put the fields on the left just after the picture ? This way, you should have more place for the address.
And last last...
A french version ?
Well, I am sorry. That's too much for one message !
You soft is really nice and well designed. Just one step for me to keep it.
Continue like this.
Best regards. |

Before you edit all your numbers, please think about international phone format (+491122334455), this will allow to make calls abroad France without a need to edit a number first. Then you need to check the Show formatted phone number option and move your default format up to the beginning of the list.

You should open a preview window first and then select Edit.

Open a contact in Edit mode, tap address field name and select the Address Format menu item. There’s available a French address format. Remember to edit your Contact Template this way.

Sorry, but we have no French partner. You can make the Search bar suitable your language. |

| That's my fault. I forgetted two '#' in my format. I agree for international.

| Yes.
When you click in the list, you already have a preview under the list. Then, if you double-click the picture (or in the list), you have an other preview and then you must click on "edit".
I just think you should have a quicker way to go to the Edit page. Something like:
One click in the list -> preview under the list and one double click in preview -> full preview
One double-click in the list -> edit

Remember to edit your Contact Template this way. | That's what I have done. But in the preview (not in the edit page) the address and the PostalCode (and city if short) are still on the same line.

| Sorry, but we have no French partner. | I am a programmer (on Mac). If you want, I can translate your soft for you. A lot of French only speak French. It should open a new market for you.
One more thing...
Do you know about a better Calendar software ?
Like your address Book ?
Simple and well presented. |

Simple and well presented. | How about a calendar in Inesoft Address Book? It's being developed. |
