Hi, I love this app, but I was wondering if there was a way to backup the contacts? I didn't see anything about it in the manual. I think this would be a great feature to have. To be able to backup contacts to a compacted file that can be copied to the external memory card slot (if the phone has one) or to a desktop and can be "imported" back if the contacts get wiped out.

There's no backup feature in Inesoft Address Book yet.
To backup your data you may:
1. Synchronize your data with MS Outlook. After a hard reset your data will be restored via ActiveSync. Just remember to move Address Book data (Tools/Set Data Folder Location) to a memory card. This will allow not to loose pictures on non Windows Mobile 5 devices.
2. Many devices come with installed PIM backup program in ROM.
We currently work on Calendar and no backup feature can be developed in the near future. |
