When I try to sync version 7.22 and Quicken 2007 R2 I see this error:

"Read error 9-63 cannot find tran with such id"

Any one help with this problem.

Thanks

I think I solved this problem. I did a reset of the databases and now I can sync in transactions. OK so to summarise my problems were:

1. An item in the sync list called “Expenses” (thanks Wasyl for pointing this out). It came from the installation of a program called Expensable which can sync with the desktop version if you have it. I do not have it but it still put a dummy entry in the sync list which was blocking CO 2007 from syncing, somehow. I unchecked this in the list of items to sync.

2. I then started getting the error shown above but after “reset data bases” on the PPC now I can synch and get offered a list of accounts when syncing for the first time as you would expect.

Hope this is useful,

Cheers

It's not allowed to have more than one program trying to access the same file at a time. If you need to synchronize the same Quicken file with more than one program, do not forget to make active only one synchronizer in ActiveSync settings.

And one more notice: Quicken does not allow sharing its data file with other programs, so do not forget to close Quicken before you establish a connection between your mobile device and PC. This does not concern MS Money.
